LGBT+ History Month is a month-long annual celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual trans, and non-binary history, including the history of LGBT+ rights and related civil rights movements.
This year’s theme is 'Medicine – #UnderTheScope'. The theme for 2024 has been chosen to shine a light on the contributions to the field of medicine, including staff in the NHS and other healthcare settings. The aim is also to highlight the LGBT+ community's experience in receiving healthcare treatment.
