Fire Safety Briefing for Domiciliary Care Providers

The Brigade would like to offer your organisation an opportunity to attend a Fire Safety Briefing. The briefing is aimed at domiciliary care providers with a view to providing information regarding fire risk, behaviours and signs that indicate a high likelihood of a fire occurring and steps to take if fire risk is a concern.

They would encourage you to send a representative who has some responsibility for training or induction of staff/support workers who will be able to cascade the information through your organisation.

There will be a number of briefings, with the first being held on 16 October 2019.

Where: London Fire Brigade HQ, 169 Union Street, Southwark SE1 0LL.
Time: 09:30 – 12:00hrs

LFB would strongly urge you to send a representative from your organisation to these briefings in order to work with us to prevent unnecessary deaths and injuries as a result of unaddressed signs of fire risk.

In order to secure a place for the briefing could you please provide a register of interest by Friday 4 October to: CSDEVTeam@london-fire.gov.uk including the name of the member(s) of staff you would like to attend. Places are limited so will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. If they are unable to accommodate you on 16 October you would be invited to an alternative date later on in the year.
