Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain

The Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) is the largest representative body for Ukrainians and those of Ukrainian descent in the UK. It exists to develop, promote and support the interests of the Ukrainian community in the UK.

AUGB organises campaigns and events to promote and commemorate aspects of Ukrainian history and culture.

AUGB London

UGB London provide a vibrant and friendly meeting place for many members and non-members to experience Ukrainian culture, education and traditions. The St.Mary’s Ukrainian Saturday School is based there, as well as numerous community groups promoting Ukrainian culture and values, including the London branches of the Association of Ukrainian Women, the Ukrainian Youth Association, Svitanok Folk Ensemble, the Ukrainian Scouting Organisation Plast, Ukrainian Former Combatants, theatre groups and many others. The members only ‘Karpaty’ Ukrainian Social Club bar is situated in the basement.

UGB London are open on Friday evenings, all day Saturday and Sunday and on weekday evenings for activities by arrangement. 

Whether you are dropping in for a cup of coffee, a drink or something to eat, attending one of the many concerts and theatre productions, Ukrainian school classes, dances or other activities, you are guaranteed a warm and personal welcome.
