National Cycle to Work Day

National Cycle to Work Day

Today, 8th of August, is the national Cycle to Work Day 2019. To mark this, Santander Cycles is offering a free 24 hour period to encourage people to cycle to work for free. To benefit from this, simply use the code CTWD2019 on the Santander Cycles app.

The Santander Cycles scheme continues to grow in popularity and covers 100km of London with 775 docking stations and more than 11,000 cycles. Find you nearest docking station here and you can share your #CycletoWorkDay with Santander Cycles on Twitter or Instagram.

Cycling to work is a great way to get active, clear your mind and prepare for the day ahead. You can also be safe in the knowledge that your commute is helping to reduce congestion and help London’s toxic air. A study carried out in seven different European cities, highlighted the fact that people who cycle in cities have better general health, better mental health, greater vitality and lower self-perceived stress.
