2020 has been a significant year for us all; can anyone remember a time when life had to change so quickly for so many?

We believe creativity can help us make sense of it all, so we are partnering with WCC City Lions to collect and exhibit the artworks created by our local community in response to the events of last year. Have a look!

We are inviting RBKC residents of all ages to take part by submitting original artworks of any kind - this could be paintings, drawings, poems, statements, audio clips, short films or digital works, as long as they relate to the following four themes:

Lockdown / Resilience and hope / Community / Black Lives Matter

Submitted artworks will be included in our virtual gallery, as well as being shown via digital displays and projections in libraries across K&C throughout the summer. Pieces that receive the most votes will be displayed in a final celebration and exhibition at Chelsea Gallery in King’s Road Library in the autumn.

RBKC RESIDENTS OF ALL AGES ARE WELCOME TO JOIN IN!

Submissions will be accepted until mid-July. After the final exhibition, they will be placed in K&C Archives to be preserved for future generations.
