Needs Impact Analysis

Analysis Report

The Analysis Report is currently in the process of being drafted to support the development of a personalisation strategy across Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Once complete, you will be able to view the latest version of the RBKC and WCC Needs Impact Analysis here.

In the meantime, you can read some more information below on the document.

The report is based largely on data submitted annually by councils to the Department of Health and Social and local and additional local data to answer four main questions:

  • What progress has been made so far in achieving personalised outcomes for people in receipt of care and support funded wholly or in part by the two councils?
  • To what extent are better outcomes associated with the payment method by which care, and support is delivered?
  • How much do the councils currently spend on adult social care for how many people and how is the spend divided between different care groups?
  • What services do people currently receive and what challenges and opportunities are there for delivering care and support for more personalised care?
