<p>42 Westbourne Park Road is a state-of-the-art centre which helps people with dementia to remain as independent as possible, as well as supporting carers.</p> <p>The centre offers a range of daily services including memory assessment services, a dementia adviser and aquatherapy sessions for disabled people and people with dementia.</p> <p>Most of the services are for people in Westminster but some are also available to people in Kensington and Chelsea.</p> <p>Services on offer include:-</p> <ul> <li><strong>Home care</strong><br />Specialist support for people with dementia in Westminster who require assistance to meet complex care needs in their own home.<br /> </li> <li><strong>Dementia Voice nurse</strong><br />If you live in Westminster our Dementia Voice Nurse can help you manage by providing expert care and support. They also work with other local services to ensure that you get the right level of support, services and equipment. <br /> </li> <li><strong>Day centre</strong><br />For people in Westminster with dementia - the centre is open 7 days a week to offer support, therapies and activities, which can help people to regain skills, reduce confusion and encourage social interaction.<br />Attendance is subject to eligibility following an assessment from the Westminster Adult Social Care team.<br /> </li> <li><strong>Dementia Adviser Westminster</strong><br />For expert advice on all aspects of living with, or caring for someone with, dementia in Westminster.
