A visit to ZSL London Zoo is much more than just a walk around the fascinating exhibits; it’s a trip through time.

A History Tour is a fantastic addition to a trip to ZSL London Zoo. Visitors will journey through the Zoo with an experienced guide, hear stories of how ZSL helped inspire Charles Darwin’s ground-breaking work, follow the friendship of Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin, discover the history of the many Grade I and Grade II listed buildings at the Zoo, and much more.

On the 2nd of October and the 5th October they will be offering free History Tours as part of the national Silver Sunday event. Spaces are limited. Please email communityengagement@zsl.org or call 07966 294 022 to book a space on one of their tours.

Silver Sunday is an annual day of fun and free activities for older people across the UK . It celebrates the value and knowledge they contribute to our communities while combating loneliness and isolation. Everyone can get involved, whether that's organising an event, spreading the word, or simply attending an activity.
