Rainbow Memory Café on Zoom
Every second Monday - 14:00 to 16:00
A supportive and social space for anyone from the LGBT+ communities with a dementia diagnosis, concerns about memory loss or memory impairment or for anyone caring for someone with dementia.
The Rainbow Cafe is led by an experienced practitioner with support from a dedicated group of volunteers as well as peer support from within the group.
The group is an opportunity for people to talk about any concerns they have, share experiences, offer support. There are occasional guest speakers, usually with a professional or clinical background in dementia and there are also occasional outings for those who are interested and able to attend.
The group is unable to meet face to face, but we are keeping in touch via zoom and regular email updates offering relevant information, advice and support.
