The Anglo-Turkish Society was founded with the object of strengthening and developing the historical ties of friendship and understanding between the peoples of Britain and Turkey.

The Society provides an opportunity for all those interested in Turkey, visitors from Turkey, Turkish residents in the UK and British people who have visited or lived in Turkey to meet for cultural and social activities.  Activities include lectures,  social functions and fundraising to support charitable, scientific and cultural work in Turkey.
