The Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Service (DAWS)
The Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Service (DAWS) is a place where you can get real and practical help to manage your problematic use of drugs and alcohol. We will work with you, whatever your situation and without judgement.
DAWS operate in two Central London boroughs: Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea.
They provide services ranging from one to one key working, to group work, prescribing and access to in-patient options. their team will support you to build a treatment plan based on your circumstances.
DAWS also provide specialist support for the friends and family of drug users as well as targeted services for women. They operate from sites across Central London and also provide online services including:
Employment, Training & Education
Wherever you are in your treatment journey They can find opportunities for you to fill your time productively - whether you just want to explore arts or crafts, improve your literacy or numeracy, learn to use a computer, gain a vocational qualification at any level or find paid or unpaid work - They're here to help!
Group Work
DAWS offer a range of online group work interventions designed to help you to build motivation to change through to maintaining your treatment goals and beyond. They also provide specialist group support for family members and women as well as access to a variety of mutual aid groups.
My Turning Point
My Turning Point is their digital treatment tool. Accessible on smartphone, tablet and computer it provides 24/7 access to a range of guided and self-help sessions that can help with your drug and alcohol use, as well as emotional heath and other wellbeing issues.
