Thames Reach
Thames Reach helps homeless and vulnerable people to live in decent homes, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives.
They support people with experience of homelessness as well as vulnerable or isolated men and women who may be in danger of becoming homeless. They specialise in helping people with complex and multiple needs, including mental health issues and drug and alcohol problems.
They support people who are:
- Currently sleeping rough on the streets.
- Living in temporary or insecure accommodation.
- Struggling to keep the tenancy on their flat.
- Isolated from support networks, family and friends.
- Living with a drug or alcohol addiction.
- Coping with poor mental health or behavioural problems.
- Struggling with health issues.
- Trying to find work.
Outreach workers contact street sleepers; manage a small hostel and some permanent flats and provide a service to rental tenants who are in danger of losing their tenancies.
