Computer skills - courses
Below are courses, skills training or guides that are available to help you learn and get confident in using common apps and the internet. We have organised the courses into the following levels of ability and experience:
- No digital experience - No experience of using digital devices of the internet independently
- Foundation - Being able to do basic skills such as send and receive emails, basic web searching and video calling
- Life - Being able to communicate, handle and store information and content securely, solve problems and transact effectively
- Work - To have the requisite skills for their job or the job they are applying for to progress in their work

No Digital Experience
No experience of using digital devices of the internet independently
- Imperial ‘What The Tech’ - a phone/video call befriending and tech support service for those who are isolated
- CNWL Digital Support for Carers - digital support to carers, enabling access to technology and the confidence on how to use it, and providing chat groups
- AbilityNet - free IT support to older people and people with disabilities of any age to help with all sorts of IT (information technology) challenges
- Age UK K&C Digital Support
- Age UK Westminster Digital Inclusion services - supports Westminster residents aged 50+ to build their confidence and knowledge using digital devices such as smartphones, tablets/iPads and laptops.

Foundation
