Accessing work

Having a job is important for self-esteem, confidence and independence - as well as providing income. Whether you're getting back to work after some time off, or starting work for the first time, finding the right job for you often can be difficult, particularly if you have a disability or health problem. 

If you are struggling to find work, it might make you feel less confident in yourself and you might feel bored. You should stay positive, keep trying, and take steps to improve your chances of finding work.

This section will give you advice on how to get a job, what help is available, and what your rights are in the workplace.
